Fleet History 40 Squadron RNZAF currently operates two Boeing 757 200 aircraft. The fleet undertakes operations to many points around the globe and flies a varied mission profile. The Boeing 757 provides a very flexible and reliable air transport capability that enables the NZDF to achieve its objectives. Starting in 2007 both aircraft will be fitted with an upper deck cargo door to facilitate an 11-pallet cargo capability, internal air stairs, upgraded engines and flight deck enhancements including full compliance with current global air navigation specifications and standards.
