// Aeronautical Standards and Safety Office

The RNZAF takes safety seriously. A safe working environment allows its personnel to produce the tasks required with the minimum of risk. To oversee the safe operations of the Air Force, an RNZAF Aeronautical Standards and Safety Office has been established and reports to the Air Component Commander JFHQ. Currently the office is located at RNZAF Base Auckland.

The RNZAF Safety and Health Office is responsible for Flight Safety, Occupational Safety, Occupational Health and Environmental Health in the RNZAF.

The Air Force Safety Office produces a regular magazine 'RNZAF Safety Insight' and safety Newsletters 'Foresight' and 'Hindsight'.
