Award ceremony for Reserve Force Employers

Employers who have shown support for their staff who are members of the Territorial Forces will be rewarded at a special function at Parliament next week.
Finalists include: Silver Fern Farms, Ministry of Health, Wanganui Prison, Waitahuna Primary School, Downer EDI Works Ltd, and the Waitemata Police District.
The ceremony will be attended by the Associate Minister of Defence the Hon. Heather Roy, the Chief of Defence Force Lieutenant General Jerry Mateparae and TFESC Chairman John Allen.
What: The Territorial Forces Employer Support Council (TFESC) Employer of the Year Awards
When: Tuesday 7 April 2008 from 5.30pm to 7.00pm
Where: Grand Hall, Parliament Buildings, Wellington

Appropriate media accreditation with photo ID must be on display at all times while on Government property.
Currently 427 New Zealand Defence Force personnel are deployed on 14 operations, UN missions and defence exercises around the world.
