3 Squadron Association

The 3 SQN Association is a non profit organisation for current and former members of No 3 Squadron RNZAF.  The Association was created to support current 3 SQN members, maintain bonds between current and former service members and preserve the memory and traditions of the Squadron and to encourage links between the squadron and other rotary units worldwide.

In creating a new website for the Association, we hope to provide a forum for current members to stay in touch with the Squadron, and a means for new members to join.  All members currently involved with the Association will automatically be added to our database.

Applicants wishing to join should view our constitution to check their eligibility, then complete and submit our membership application form.  Upon successful application, you will be added to our database of members and kept abreast with squadron life.

In previous years, the Squadron has run an annual function, “Huey Old Boys”.  However, in order to recognise the long history of 3 SQN and all of its members, current and former, it has been decided to rename this function on a yearly basis whilst continuing to encompass the varied aircraft types operated by the squadron over the years.  It is also a suitable preparation for the incoming replacement helicopters due in the near future.

Members are invited to return to the site frequently to notify us of any change of your details so we can keep you abreast of news in our Quarterly Letters, also stay tuned for news about this years Annual Function due to be held at Ohakea in November.
