The Royal New Zealand Air Force Association (RNZAFA) has a current membership of 1500 in 29 branches and they encourage any ex RNZAF, Commonwealth or Allied air forces members to join their ranks for fellowship and friendship. They are keen to ensure that the welfare of former ex Air Force personnel are catered for, and they have close links through Robin Klitscher with the Royal New Zealand Returned Services Association (RNZRSA). They hold an annual conference in the last week of October, which they move around the North and South Islands.

The 2009 Conference will be held at RNZAF Ohakea. The dates are 30 October to 1 November 2009.

The RNZAFA was established in 1945

The National President is Air Vice Marshal Robin Klitscher, National Secretary and National Chairman is Charles Cooke.
