Base Ohakea awards
Air Force personnel at Base Ohakea were officially recognised for their meritorious service at a medal and trophy presentation on Base, 25 February 2010.
CLG Commendation
Commander of the Logistics Group (CLG), GPCAPT Andy Woods presented the awards to the eight recipients from a range of logistics roles at Ohakea. Presentations included Officers Commissioning Parchments, Service medals and Ohakea Trade Trophies.
GPCAPT Woods also had the pleasure of presenting SGT Danelle O’Keeffe with a commendation for the exceptional service she provided to No 3 Squadron, while posted to the Iroquois Technical Support Cell.
GPCAPT Woods commented on the range of service careers that were being recognised at the ceremony; from personnel beginning their commissioned career through to recognition for long service and outstanding performance.
GPCAPT Woods emphasised how proud the Royal New Zealand Air Force is of these people for their dedication to duty, initiative, drive, and willingness to make changes.
