Air Force Open Day 2007
2007 Saturday 3rd of March @ RNZAF Base Whenuapai
Auckland, New Zealand.
Air Vice-Marshal Graham Lintott
Chief of Air Force
Welcome to the RNZAF’s 2007 Open Day. On behalf of the men and women of the RNZAF it gives me great pleasure to provide you with a window to view what we do in your Air Force. We hope you gain an understanding of our military aircraft and how they are used and supported in a variety of different roles and capabilities. More importantly, it is an opportunity for you to meet and appreciate our talented young people who serve our country so professionally. Our vision is to be an Air Force that is the best in all that we do.
Whether you are looking for a change in direction yourself, or know someone who is looking for an exciting and challenging Career opportunity, I strongly encourage you to talk to our recruiting staff who will be only too pleased to discuss what it takes to be a part of our team.
Our mission is to carry out military air operations to advance New Zealand’s security interests, with professionalism, integrity and teamwork. We take pride in our Service and allegiance to New Zealand and it is our traditions and history which motivate our future efforts.
The RNZAF is entering an extraordinary period of its life and during the next decade we will introduce into service more than thirty new or significantly upgraded aircraft across six different fleets.
Yes it is exciting! So indulge yourself in the atmosphere of what is the RNZAF, as we showcase your Air Force today.
