Classic Fighters 2007

2007 Easter 6 - 8th April , Omaka Aerodrome, Blenheim, New Zealand

Classic Fighters is much more than just an air show.  Aircraft are displayed as part of a theatrical spectacle, where battle scenes and other historical events are re-enacted on the ground as in the air.  Prepare for a spectacular weekend of fun and aeroplanes in the Gourmet Province of Marlborough, New Zealand.

Classic Fighters 2007 Air Show. Easter Weekend 6-8th April, Omaka Aerodrome, Blenheim, New Zealand. Spectacular weekend of fun will include:

  • World War I aircraft dog fighting overhead
  • Airfield attacks by the fighters from Word War II
  • Theatrical ground theatre battles with troops and vehicles in conjunction with aerial displays.
  • Formation aerobatics and displays of historic aircrafts.
  • RNZAF – Red Checkers Aerobatic team
  • Royal Air Force displays
  • Jousting (yes real men on real horses, with lances!)
  • Military vehicles, vintage machinery and classic cars.
  • Crafts, Wine and Gourmet foods
  • Aviation memorabilia, products and services
  • Plus entertainment for kids.

"Aviation & The movies" is the theme for 2007 show, you are encouraged to come in costume
